Raney Branch is a native of Atlanta, GA. But she doesn’t like sweet tea. Like at all. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, where she majored in environmental studies and minored in Arabic. In between studying the politics of water in the Middle East, Raney performed with EnActe – a regional touring theatre group – and sang in The Gathering – Emory’s all female a cappella ensemble. Since college, Raney has acted on stage in New York and Atlanta, including the 30th anniversary of the Vagina Monologues featuring Jane Fonda and Eve Ensler. Since moving to Los Angeles, Raney has appeared on tv shows including The Originals, Grey’s Anatomy, You’re The Worst, New Girl, The Fosters, The Mindy Project, See Dad Run, and The Haunted Hathaways. Raney has also been featured in national print and commercial campaigns for brands including McDonalds, Bank of America, Trop50, and Nissan. When she’s not acting, Raney is either on someone’s stage singing, hiking, or running her handcrafted home, bath, and body company Nan+Von. Raney aspires to become the female Indiana Jones.
